Transcorp, Nigeria’s leading listed conglomerate, has reported impressive unaudited financial results for the half year ended June 30, 2025. The company announced a revenue of N279.7 billion, marking a significant 59% increase compared to N175.4 billion in the same period in 2024.
In addition to the revenue surge, Transcorp’s profit before tax rose to N85.7 billion, up by 21% from N70.9 billion recorded in H1 2024. The company also posted a gross profit margin of 47%, showcasing strong performance despite prevailing economic challenges.
Demonstrating its commitment to shareholder value, it declared an interim dividend of N4.064 billion, translating to 40 kobo per ordinary share, subject to applicable withholding tax.
Commenting on the results, the company Chairman Tony Elumelu highlighted the company’s continued growth and impact across key sectors, stating, “it remains committed to its impact-driven and value-creating mission. Our power subsidiaries—Transcorp Power and Transafam Power—are transforming lives, while our hospitality arm continues to lead with innovations like the newly launched Transcorp Centre in Abuja.”

He emphasized the strength of the company’s diversified business model, noting its resilience and strategic vision in contributing to Nigeria’s economic development.
President and Group CEO, Owen Omogiafo, also praised Transcorp’s strong Q2 2025 performance, attributing it to operational excellence and the company’s agile corporate strategy. “Our adaptability in a dynamic market has enabled Transcorp to consistently deliver value to all stakeholders,” she said.
