Obi has clarified that there are no ongoing discussions regarding a possible joint presidential ticket with Atiku for the 2027 elections.
Speaking on his plans for the country, Obi emphasized that his priority as president would be restoring order in governance through enhanced security, improved education, and lifting Nigerians out of poverty. According to him, the key to achieving these goals lies in cutting the cost of governance and launching an aggressive anti-corruption campaign from day one.

Highlighting his track record, he pointed to his hands-on leadership during his tenure in Anambra State, stating, “My past speaks loudly for me. Wherever there was a problem in Anambra, I showed up in person.”

Obi also stressed the importance of commitment in public service, saying anyone who wishes to lead must be willing to risk their own life for the well-being of Nigerians. He concluded by underscoring the importance of political stability, asserting that “nobody abroad takes you seriously if you don’t have a stable government.”
